Managerial Loyalty

I’m sure that there was a timne when managers would have given their right arm to manage the national team. Twice now, the incumbent of the Scottish national side has stepped aside to manage a league team.

Hopefully, the next manager will be in post for some time. The constant changing must do little to develop consistency of approach.

I have to say, though, that the current departure may actually be a good thing. But who will fill the breach, and for how long ?
