Currently, I’m a minister of the Church of Scotland. Born in France and then spent first six years of life in England before finally arriving at family home in St. Andrews. Got bitten (terminally) by the golfing bug and have played for the Church against the Church of England in an annual match.
Entered the ministry in 1992. Previously was a furniture remover and saw a lot of life from those with much to those with little or nothing. Very educational. Speaking of education, studied at New College, Edinburgh from1985-9 doing a BD (Hons in Practical Theology) and then a Diploma in Ministry from 1989-90. My probationary placement was in Cluny Morningside, Edinburgh.
Before all that, I had aspirations to be a chemistry teacher.
Have three children, a wife who is a secondary Maths teacher.
